18 november 2008 | STOCK UP ON STOCKING FILLERS AT THATCHERS FARM SHOP

The Thatchers Farm Shop is a great place to stock up on Christmas gifts and stocking fillers.  As well as our full range of bottled ciders, over 18s can “try before you buy” our ciders straight from the barrel.

This year in the run-up to Christmas, we will be sampling a special Mulled Cider in the Thatchers shop, and selling the spices you need to make this delicious warming drink in the comfort of your own home. 

Cheeses, chutneys and meats, as well as a selection of Thatchers-branded gifts and cider gift baskets are also available.

 

This year why not try our single variety cider Katy as an alternative to wine with your festive meal. Crisp and refreshingly different, Katy makes a superb accompaniment to a meal. Made from all-English apples, Katy is a light, slightly sparkling cider that is just right for a special occasion.

 

For party goers, Thatchers Old Rascal will make a refreshing change. One of our favourite bittersweet ciders, Old Rascal is aged in oak vats, and has all the hallmarks of a distinctive Thatchers product, full of flavour and a Westcountry apple bite.

Try Thatchers Mulled Cider at home:
Take 4 pints of Thatchers medium cider, pour into a saucepan, and heat gently with ½ cinnamon stick, Allspice to taste, 2 slices of root ginger, and some slices of fresh orange and lemon. Warm through, but don’t allow to boil. Enjoy with friends.
