Cider Academy apprentice
This is an opportunity to work as an apprentice within the heart of our production team helping to create, process and package one of the most famous ciders in the country.
As a cider apprentice you will be based within our production team, and explore areas of the business within production, orchard, supply chain and our science labs. This is a role for anybody who wants to pursue a career in a technical role, enjoys science or engineering and thrives in a team environment.
Over the year you will gain a strong foundation of knowledge, gain skills and learn from industry experts within our teams on our bespoke award winning apprenticeship programme

Training & Development
We know it is a big decision to take your first steps in a career and at Thatchers we ensure that we give you all the training, support and development you need to succeed. What we ask in return is hard-work and trust and for you to share the same enthusiasm and passion for our business as we do.
You will complete The food and drink industry foundation apprenticeship in food and drink processing in partnership with our training provider, Bridgewater & Taunton College. At the start of this journey we will review your skills and ambitions to create a training plan that meets your individual needs. As part of our Young Talent Programme we will develop your skills and knowledge through a range of business seminars and networking opportunities that will give you a thorough insight into our industry and business.
