Big Apple Sour

Our Big Apple Sour is a showstopper! Based on a New York Sour – with a classic red wine float – this cocktail has complexity and body, brought by a blend of ingredients including bourbon, red wine and egg white.

This cocktail uses:

Thatchers Gold

  • 25ml Bourbon
  • 20ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 20ml Sugar Syrup
  • 20ml Egg Whites
  • 2 dashes of Aromatic Bitters
  • 80ml Thatchers Gold
  • 15ml Red Wine
  • Cocktail Cherry
  • Ice
  1. Add the Bourbon, lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg whites & aromatic bitters to a shaker.
  2. Fill with cubed ice and shake vigorously.
  3. Add 80ml of Thatchers Gold to the shaker.
  4. Strain into a tumbler glass filled with ice.
  5. Add the float of red wine and top with a cherry.
