Juicy Apple Wild Pint Giveaway
We have been out and about surprising adventurers in the UK with their wildest ever pint of cider. From an ice-age gorge to ancient heathland, we’ve been popping up in iconic locations, rewarding those who’ve swapped scrolling for strolling or posting for paddling, with a refreshing Juicy Apple Cider.
The giveaway is celebrating the start of harvest, the earliest in our 121 year history, brought on by the long, hot summer. Despite the dry weather, we are delighted to have plenty of apples, all rich with flavour and ready to be turned into delicious cider!
Our best-selling new cider, Juicy Apple, has also enjoyed the gorgeous weather this summer as it is powered by sunshine; made using sun-drenched apples and 100% green electricity, including power from the 3,500 solar panels on the roof of our Somerset farm.

Great Britain’s great outdoors voted greatest location for perfect pint
New research by Censuswide has revealed that the great outdoors is Britain’s best place for a perfect pint; from pub gardens to beaches and mountains, the British public love to enjoy a pint in the open air. 41% say the pub garden is their favourite spot for a pint, 20% choose the beach, and others name everything from a campsite to a mountain peak as their ideal drinking destination.
And new data from OS Maps, Britain’s most popular outdoor navigation app, says its users created over 100,000 new walking routes last August bank holiday. They also saw a whopping 83% rise in searches for walking routes which feature pubs this summer – proof that many adventures are planned with the perfect pint in mind.
Eleanor Thatcher, fifth generation cider maker, said; “We’re excited by this year’s harvest; despite the dry weather we have an abundance of apples, and the glorious sunshine has packed them full of the rich sugars and tannins which make great ciders.
“At this time of year as the harvest begins, what better way is there to celebrate than enjoying a pint of cider, soaking up the last of the summer sun, out in the wild, where our apples are grown?”
