We’re honoured to have received the Food and Drink Award at last night’s Made in the UK Awards. We make all our ciders with nothing but love (and 100% renewable electricity), so winning this award means the world to everyone here at Thatchers.

The awards recognise manufacturing excellence in the UK, with last night’s ceremony seeing the regional champions compete for the national accolades. The judges said they were impressed with our “new, state-of-the-art, sustainably-built warehouse, which helps to significantly reduce the number of journeys made by lorries”.

Stephen Penfold and Joanne Carr were on hand to accept the award on behalf of the Thatcher family and all the staff who work here at Myrtle Farm.
