THATCHERS CIDER APPRENTICE MOLLY WINS TOP AWARD

Huge congratulations to our brand apprentice Molly O’Flaherty who has received the top award at the Weston College Business Awards 2019 – Overall Learner of the Year.

Molly joined Thatchers last September straight from Year 11 as part of our Young Talent Programme. Since then, she has been spending time in different commercial roles throughout the company including sales, marketing and customer service.

As a brand apprentice, Molly has taken on new challenges every day, meeting customers, attending trade fairs and working on marketing projects. She’s worked at events, careers fairs and festivals and has totally immersed herself into life at Myrtle Farm.

The Awards evening was topped off with our Young Talent Programme also being praised by the judges for its commitment to inspiring and educating young people. We were named New Apprentice Employer, and Overall Employer of the Year. Thank you Weston College!

Our Young Talent programme is now in its second year, inspiring and educating young people about the food and drink industry and most importantly about the exciting careers opportunities at Thatchers.
