We’re offering key workers a chance to become a part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta Flypast!

This year’s Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is taking a new shape with the announcement of the Fiesta Flypast that will see Hot Air Balloons take to the sky across Bristol between 1st – 14th August.

As a long-term partner of the Fiesta, we are delighted to be supporting the event once again this year with our yellow Thatchers Hot Air Balloon to be part of the ballooning line-up.

Although there will be no public event taking place at Ashton Court, in partnership with First Flight, we are giving three key workers the chance to become part of the action as we offer a balloon flight during the Fiesta Flypast to those that deserve a special thank you.

We are asking for key worker nominations on our Facebook page with winners being randomly selected to take part. The three lucky winners will then be flown across Bristol from a secret location on a date that will be later announced at the beginning of August. Nominees must be available at a moment’s notice as the date will be announced only 24 hours before they take to the skies!

This is another way we have been saying a big thank you to key workers for all of the amazing work that they do after donating over 15,000 bottles of their alcohol-free cider, Thatchers Zero, to hospitals and ambulance stations across the South-West to offer some post-shift refreshment during the pandemic.

If you’d like to nominate a key worker to have a place on the Thatchers Hot Air Balloon please head to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ThatchersCiderCompany. All T&C’s can also be found here: https://www.thatcherscider.co.uk/thatchers-fiesta-flypast-competition-terms-and-conditions-2020/

Nominations close at 23:59 on Thursday 23rd July.

Thatchers is working in partnership with First Flight. To find out more about flying in the Thatchers Hot Air Balloon, please head to their website at: http://hotair-balloonrides.co.uk/
