We’re pleased to announce we’re the new Official Cider Partner for Essex Cricket.

Thatchers branding will be present around The Cloudfm County Ground whilst a variety of our ciders will be available in the bar areas for Members and supporters to purchase once crowds are permitted to return.

Darrell Fox, Commercial Manager at Essex Cricket, said: “This is another exciting partnership for the Club and one I’m sure the Members and fans will certainly enjoy once they’re back watching cricket at The Cloudfm County Ground.

“Cricket and cider go hand in hand, so it’s a partnership we’re really enthusiastic about and one we’re looking forward to developing over the next three years.”

Martin Thatcher added, “We’re delighted to further our involvement within cricket to become a partner of Essex Cricket.  The emerging friendly rivalry between Somerset and Essex based on such close league encounters means supporters from both counties will eagerly anticipate the summer watching the cricket with a refreshing cider in hand.”

Thatchers has signed a three-year agreement becoming the cider provider for Essex Cricket, working in conjunction with Brewing Partner Greene King.
