At Thatchers, we’re big fans of the great outdoors, we’re based on a family farm in Somerset after all! We’ve spent 122 years crafting cider inspired by the countryside around us and we believe there’s no better way to enjoy it than with a wonderful walk teamed with great company, plus a delicious pint on route!

That’s why we’ve partnered with OS Maps by Ordnance Survey to create Pint Sized Walks; a collection of scenic routes across the UK that celebrate the simple pleasure of getting outdoors, discovering somewhere new and enjoying a well-earned pint along the way.

From coastal ambles and countryside adventures, to city strolls and hidden local gems, every Pint Sized Walk has been chosen to be achievable, sociable and rewarding, with a pub serving Thatchers waiting at the finish line.

What is a pint sized walk?

Our research shows that over two thirds of Brits prefer a walk if there’s a pub at the end of it with cider chosen as the top refreshing post-walk choice for 18-24 year olds and those in the South West.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Ordnance Survey to create Thatchers Pint Sized Walks – a curated collection of scenic UK walking routes that finish at pubs serving Thatchers Cider.

Routes span iconic British walking destinations including coastal hotspots, countryside escapes & national park locations from Devon and Cornwall to Pembrokeshire, Hampshire, Cumbria & Fife.
