Thatchers Foundation

We’ve been living and working here for four generations, and many of Thatchers Cider’s staff and families live locally too, so this is one way of saying thank you and giving something back to the community.

The Foundation is independent of Thatchers Cider. We undertake our own fundraising activities to enable us to make the donations and contributions we wish to do. We’re very grateful to the Thatcher family for making a generous donation to enable the Foundation to be established.

Our trustees represent the Thatcher family, Thatchers Cider and the local community – Martin Thatcher, Anne Thatcher, Philip Smith, Mike Williamson, Andrew Farron and Kelli Coxhead. The grants we make may be financial, or through the donation of time and physical help.

The Thatchers Foundation welcomes applications for single grants that would make a real difference to organisations, groups or individuals within four specific areas: Health, Social or Economic Disadvantage, Education or Environment.
