Thatchers x Bristol Flyers ticket giveaway Term and Conditions [18.04.2024]
1. For the purposes of these terms, the Promoter Thatchers Cider Company Limited trading as Thatchers with registered office Myrtle Farm Station Road, Sandford, Winscombe, Avon, BS25 5RA whose Instagram handle is @thatcherscider and Facebook page is @Thatchers Cider (“Promoter Accounts”).
2. The giveaway is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over with a UK main-land residential address, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents, representatives, advisors or any third party directly associated with operation or administration of the giveaway.
3. The “Prize” is as described in the caption of the Giveaway Post on the Promoter Accounts which sets out [2 x premium courtside tickets to Bristol Flyers at the SGS College Arena, expected to take place on Friday 3rd May].
4. This giveaway is open to entries on 18.04.2024 at 5pm and closes on 23.04.2024 at 8.59am (“Giveaway Post”). All entries received after 23.04.2024 at 8.59am (“Closing Date”) are automatically disqualified.
5. All entries must be submitted by complying with the terms specified in the Giveaway Post to constitute a valid entry and only one entry per person permitted. Entries through agents or third parties are invalid.
6. These terms are in addition to those set in the Giveaway Post caption. By entering the giveaway, you agree and accept to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry; these terms are accessible via the link in the Promoter Accounts. If there is any conflict between these terms and the Giveaway Post caption then these terms will prevail.
7. The entry requirements in the Giveaway Post caption and these terms should be clear and easy to understand. However, if you are having trouble understanding the terms please direct message the Promoter and the Promoter shall endeavour to clarify any questions that you have.
8. The giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary. Winners will never be asked by the Promoter to pay to enter the competition and the Promoter will never ask you to provide bank details.
9. The Promoter will only ever contact you via the Promoters Account. Please be aware of scammers and/or phishing accounts and note that the Promoter will not be held liable for instances for any loss where third parties have imitated, impersonated or represented themselves as the Promoter and/or otherwise connected to the giveaway and the Promoter.
10. The winner will be chosen at random via: https://twitterpicker.com/ at 9am on Thursday 16th November. The winner will ONLY be notified by direct message on one of the Promoter Accounts. The winner must provide a UK email address to claim the Prize.
11. The winner will receive the Prize within 1 day of the Closing Date unless the winner does not respond to the Promoter’s contact efforts and/or fails to provide a suitable address as specified above. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter and/or provide the necessary details for posting the Prize within 5 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s Prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the random draw process described above.
12. Subject to paragraph 12 above, the Prize will be sent to the winner by email within 12 hours of responding to the notification of their win. The Promoter shall not be held liable where a email service has failed to deliver the Prize to the winner.
13. The Prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-returnable and no cash alternative is offered.
14. In the unlikely event that the original Prize is unavailable, a reasonable equivalent will be provided to the winner.
15. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and its sole discretion to verify the eligibility of any entrant (including their age and/or residential address).
16. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize draw and this giveaway is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
17. By entering this giveaway, you agree to take part in unpaid related promotional activities (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the Prize and consent to the Promoter using your name and image in promotional material.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes unavoidable.
20. The Promoter will only amend and/or update these terms where it is absolutely unavoidable and necessary to do so, otherwise it shall be avoided at all costs.
21. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize and/or otherwise entering the giveaway, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
22. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any problems or technical malfunction of computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any social media site entries to be received on account of technical problems, downtime, or traffic congestion on the internet, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in the promotion.
23. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy.
24. This giveaway will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and entrants to the giveaway submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
