THATCHERS VINTAGEABV 8.3% | Rich and dry
Here at Thatchers, we move with the times – but our history comes with us. All our craft can be found in Vintage, featuring the previous season’s pick of the crop, such as Dabinett, Prince William, Somerset Redstreak and Gala varieties. Great with friends and traditional foods like Sunday lunch. Or a companion while musing on the meaning of life.
Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. Gluten free. Contains sulphites for freshness.
Vintage 2022 is a lightly sparkling, full-bodied, medium dry cider. Slowly matured and softly rounded, the depth of character comes from apples such as Dabinett and Prince William for their rich soft tannins, Somerset Redstreak for its peppery notes, and a touch of the Gala dessert apple for its distinctive fruity aroma.
We use the juice from a single season’s pick of the crop to make Vintage. This blend of classic west country flavours is then allowed to mature. Like wine, every Vintage will taste just a little bit different to the discerning drinker. That’s what happens when you work with mother nature.
Goes Well With…
Thatchers Vintage effortlessly handles bold, savoury dishes made with beef or lamb. But the rich flavours come into their own with a range of cheeses and spiced chutneys. Don’t know about you, but it’s starting to feel a lot like dinnertime!
