Thatchers Pub Garden Makeover

We’re continuing our support for pubs this spring and summer with the launch of a new competition that offers the chance to win one of three top prizes of a £10,000 garden makeover.

Each winner will be offered a bespoke makeover of their outside space, ensuring the design meets the needs of the winning pub and its customers.

There are 3 top prizes consisting of:

- A £10,000 investment into the winning pub’s outside space
- A sampling event at the winning pub run by the Thatchers team

There are 10 runners up prizes consisting of:

- 1 x Thatchers 3m x 3m Jumbrella
- 5 x Thatchers 2m x 2m wooden parasols
- A sampling event at the winning pub run by the Thatchers team

To enter the competition, pubs simply need to purchase three x 50-litre Thatchers draught kegs from participating wholesalers and suppliers before the closing date of 30th April 2023. Pubs can enter the competition as many times as they like during the promotion period.

COMPETITION ENTRY
Title of Competition: Garden Takeover
How to Enter: Purchase 3 kegs of any draught Thatchers cider from participating wholesalers (proof of purchase may be required).
Entry Requirements
All entrants must be:
• an owner, manager or employee of a licensed premises of the UK (being England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland);
• a current on-trade customer of Thatchers, with Thatchers Cider provided on tap at the premises;
• over 18 years of age; and
• for the first place prize, you must be prepared to agree to a 2 year exclusivity on Thatchers cider being the only cider on tap in your premises.
Entry Limit: No limit on number of entries between the Start Date and End Date.
Start Date: Wednesday 1st March 2023
End Date: Sunday 30th April 2023
Announcement Date: Friday 5th May 2023

PRIZE DETAILS
First Place

£10,000 investment in the licensed premises garden to include £5,000 of Thatchers branded products and £5,000 works to be carried out by a Thatchers approved supplier.
3 first place prizes available to win – one per region being:
• South – Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, Berkshire, Surrey, East Sussex, Greater London, Kent, Gloucestershire;
• Midlands – Wales, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire;
• North – Cheshire, South Yorkshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Cumbria, County Durham, Tyne & Wea, Northumberland, Scotland (South, Midlands and North).

Second Place

A Thatchers Jumbrella (3m x 3m), 5 Thatchers parasols (2m x 2m) and a sampling event led by a Thatchers sales representative (10 second place prizes available to win).

Please note that there will only be one prize per premises. This Competition specifically excludes the following territories – Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Inner Hebrides, Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands and the Isles of Scilly.

How To Claim the Prize

Thatchers will call you on the Announcement Date using the contact details provided to us by your chosen supplier (ie the contact details on their system).

If Thatchers cannot speak to you directly, you will have 7 days to claim the Prize following the Announcement Date.

First place prize winners will be required to attend a meeting at their premises with Thatchers & Thatchers selected supplier team to discuss delivery of the £10,000 investment.
