Haze & Apple Sauce
Haze & apple sauce perfectly paired with hot dogs – a combination you won’t want to miss out on this BBQ season!

- 2 onions (roughly chopped)
- 1 green chilli (chopped)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
- 3 bramley apples (peeled, cored & roughly chopped)
- 1 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 500ml Haze
- 100ml cider vinegar
- Pinch salt
- In a frying pan, sweat the onion, chilli, garlic with the bay leaf over a medium heat until softened.
- Add the allspice, ginger, cayenne pepper and cinnamon.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the bramley apples, cider vinegar & 250ml of Thatchers Haze.
- Simmer on a low heat until the apples are soft.
- Leave to cool slightly
- Transfer mixture to a blender (in batches).
- Blend to a purée.
- Stir in the remaining Thatchers Haze & season with salt.
- Serve & enjoy!
