Meet The Cidermakers With Made In North Somerset
We were delighted to be part of this year’s Made in North Somerset celebration of local food, drink, arts and crafts.
In a special “meet the maker” family event held in our orchards at William’s Barn, we welcomed around 80 people to pick apples, press some fresh juice using our traditional hand presses, and hear from our cidermakers about four generations of cidermaking at Myrtle Farm.
September is a very special month at Thatchers, as the apples start to be harvested, and there’s always a beautiful aroma in the air. We’re pleased so many people were able to share this with us.
