We were delighted to feature in last night’s episode of the BBC Two series of Harvest 2015.

In the three part series, presenters Gregg Wallace and Philippa Forrester were joined by a new presenter, James Manning, meeting farmers from across Britain, including three generations of the Thatcher family here in the heart of Somerset – John Thatcher, his son Martin, and Martin’s children, Eleanor and Peter.

Filming for the series had been taking place at Thatchers Myrtle Farm since January, following in detail the cidermaking year, including planting of new orchards,  through to harvesting the apples and crafting the cider.

Somerset-based Indian cookery specialist Bini Ludlow also featured in the programme.
