Cheers! We have scooped four Taste of the West golds for our delicious Somerset Ciders
We’ve been awarded four gold medals in this year’s Taste of the West Awards.
Amongst the ciders receiving the golden accolade is our latest blend to be unveiled here at Myrtle Farm – Thatchers Blood Orange. A vibrant and sparkling cider, Thatchers Blood Orange was launched in the Spring, and is already taking the country by storm for its sweet, juicy and thirst quenching flavour.
Also receiving a Gold Medal is The Classics – a special edition made from classic apple varieties all harvested from just one single orchard in Banwell, Somerset.
Our alcohol-free cider Zero received a Gold Medal, as did one of our most time-honoured ciders, our popular single variety, Katy.
Celebrating the best food and drink made here in the West Country, the Taste of the West Awards has grown to become the most prestigious food and drink awards programme in the South West over the last thirty years.
