Congratulations to Tom Baker, one of our growing number of apprentices, who has won Intermediate Apprentice of the Year at the Grow Somerset Talent awards.

Tom works with us at Myrtle Farm as a cider apprentice. He was nominated for the award because of the progress he’s achieved throughout the cidermaking season, developing a really strong set of skills.

He is also an apprentice ambassador, which means he goes out to schools and colleges spreading the word about being an apprentice. He has been a real credit to Thatchers and the apprenticeship scheme.

Tom was shortlisted from over 130 nominations. Congratulations Tom!
