Hot air balloon engagement
Huge congratulations to Alex Lloyd and Harriet Ferris who got engaged at the weekend – in the Thatchers hot air balloon!
The romantic flight took place on Sunday morning (August 12th) during the mass ascent at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta 2017.
Alex had spent months planning the proposal. He told the Bristol Post, “It was an amazing turnout and the skies cleared for us. It was lovely.”
The Thatchers hot air balloon is operated by First Flight.
