Martin Thatcher named in top Entrepreneurs list
Our fourth generation cidermaker, Martin Thatcher, has been named in this year’s Maserati 100, a list of the UK’s most innovative entrepreneurs.
The Maserati 100 has been published in partnership with the Sunday Times, recognising 100 game-changing entrepreneurs who are innovators in the business world. The Maserati 100 is now in its fifth year, dedicated to celebrating the positive impact entrepreneurs have on the economy and society as a whole.
About Martin, they said, “The fourth generation of his family to run the Somerset cidermaker, Thatcher has brought the firm into the 21st century by investing in a new £14m cider mill, broadcasting viral TV adverts and launching a Rosé tipple last year.”
The list celebrates 100 entrepreneurs who have contributed original thinking to their industry, saying “Innovation is about executing the big idea – converting the idea into a successful business.”
Congratulations Martin!
