We’re pleased to be supporting the second annual Somerset Day, which takes place on 11^th May.

Hosted by Passion for Somerset, the official date for Somerset Day was voted for by the public in 2015 in honour of King Alfred the Great – the only King in British history to be called Great.

We’re hosting a number of activities:

• A special celebration at The Railway Inn, Sandford, at 6.30pm on Wednesday 11^th May, when there’ll be traditional dancing from the Mendip Morrismen, as well as a special cider and cheese tasting. All welcome!
• Somerset Day promotions in the Myrtle Farm Cider Shop.
• We have also teamed up with two other much-loved Somerset brands, Wyke Farms and Miles Tea & Coffee, to run a #LoveSomerset social media campaign throughout the month of May. Visit us on Facebook and Twitter during May, join in and tell us why you #LoveSomerset.
