The sun shone for The Railway Inn’s first anniversary celebrations on Saturday (30th July).

Our new pizza oven and barbecue were kept busy throughout the day as our customers took the opportunity to enjoy some laid back music, great cider and great food on a beautiful summer’s day.

Our chefs even produced a very special railway birthday cake, which was cut by Mr and Mrs John and Ann Thatcher.

A huge thank you to The Cherry Pickers and Wrong Direction who kept the music coming during the afternoon and evening, to the facepainters Absolutely Painted Faces, who were in hot demand by the younger generation, and of course to all our customers who helped us not only celebrate on the day, but have supported us throughout our very exciting first year.
