Winning Ways
We’ve brought home an amazing 5 medals in this year’s World Cider Awards.
This includes a brilliant Gold medal for our new look, Thatchers Vintage 8.3%, a deep, rich vintage cider crafted with cider connoisseurs in mind. Pressed, blended, matured and bottled here at Myrtle Farm, Thatchers Vintage uses traditional bittersweet apples including Tremlett’s Bitter and Somerset Redstreak, as well as lighter more modern varieties including Three Counties and Prince William, to create a premium cider with a satisfyingly crisp sparkle.
Joining Vintage with a Gold medal is our deliciously fruity Blood Orange, our best-selling 4% fruit cider. It’s crafted with naturally juicy, aromatic apples chosen for their sweetness – Braeburn, Fuji and Gala, and bursting with natural blood orange flavour, creates a vibrant and sparkling cider.
Judges at the World Cider Awards also recognised three more of our ciders, Thatchers Haze, Thatchers Katy, and Thatchers Zero – all with glittering silver medals.
The World Cider Awards see entries from all over the world with an extensive judging process having taken place over the summer.
